Request Password Reset

The self-service password reset can be used to help users set a new password.  It can assist in the following circumstances:

  1. User has forgot password
  1. User is currently locked out from excessive failed login attempts
  1. User’s initial welcome email has expired and user needs to set password for first time
  1. User’s password is expired

Reset Password

In order to reset your password, please follow the procedures outlined below.

  1.  Open the login page for the appropriate PowerLender site.
  1. Click the “Reset your Password” link.

Password Recovery Window

  1. The Password Recovery window displays

  1. Enter the email address associated with the account being reset.
  1. Click the “Retrieve Password” button.  The page will refresh and a message will display if the password reset email was sent

Password Reset Email

  1. The "Password reset email sent successfully. Please check your email. " message displays
  2. Once the email is received, click the “Reset your Password” button in the email to open the page to set a new password.

Emails typically arrive in the inbox in about 60 seconds.  Some email filters and spam checking can cause a delay.
If the button does not work as some email clients may block it or change the page it redirects to, copy and paste the URL at the bottom of the page into a browser.

Set New Password

  1. On the “Set A New Password” page, enter a new password twice and click “Change Password” to set a new password.  Ensure you are following the password requirements display at the bottom of the page.

  1. The page will refresh and the "Password successfully changed." message will display if the password was changed.
